Baltazar Nacion Endriga

Mr. Baltazar N. Endriga is the Managing Partner of Endriga, Manangu and Associates, Certified Public Accountants. He is active in the Philippine Institute of CPAs where he distinguished himself in many leadership and technical positions. He serves as a Board Member & Treasurer of the Management Association of the Philippines, Board Member of the Capital Market Development Center, Inc., Board Member of the Miriam College, Managing Director of the Management Association of the Philippines Research & Development Foundation, Inc. and Founding Member & Secretary/Treasurer, Foundation for Transparency & Public Accountability.

He is recognized as a pioneer in information technology consulting in the Philippines, with his sterling record as a two-term president of the Information Technology Association of the Philippines (ITAP) from 1993 to 1994 and of the Philippine Computer Society (PCS) from 1985 to1986. He became the President & Chief Academic Officer of the University of the East from 2003 to 2005; President of the Cultural Center of the Philippines from 2001 to 2003; President of the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FEIP) in 1997 and was President and CEO of the Philippine Central Depository (PCD) from1998 to 1999; Commissioner of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) from 1995 to 1999 as well as of the Philippine Centennial Commission. He became President of Andersen Consulting, Inc (now ACCENTURE) from 1993 to 1995, and Chairman, Partner and Head of the Sycip, Gorres and Velayo (SGV) Consulting from 1971 to 1993.

Mr. Endriga was the Private Sector Champion of the National Competitiveness Council for Efficient Public & Private Sector Management; the Most Outstanding CPA in Public Accounting from the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) in 1994, Most Outstanding CPA in Professional Development, also from PICPA in 1985; and Most Outstanding Alumnus in Business Management from the UE Alumni Association in 1991.

This Certified Public Accountant, who placed sixth in the CPA Board exams, completed his Bachelor in Business Administration at the University of the East – Magna Cum Laude, his MBA at the Harvard Business School in 1968 and Graduate Studies in Economics at the Ateneo de Manila Graduate School of Economics.

He is happily married to Teresita Tablan, a UST Commerce graduate, with whom he has three children.
