Fr. Rolando dela Rosa, O.P.

"Ex-Rector is new CHED head", was the headline of a University publication in 2004. Indeed, that was what became of Rev. Fr. Rolando V. Dela Rosa's "professional life" after two school administrative posts: the rectorship of the University of Santo Tomas (1990 to 1998) and the Colegio de San Juan de Letran-Calamba (2003). He served government as the highest man at the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) in 2004.

Francisco T. Mañosa

Born in Manila to a family of architects, Francisco T. Manosa graduated from the University of Santo Tomas with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 1953. He passed the board examination for Architects in 1954. In 1957, Archt. Manosa finished a Landscaping Course in Tokyo University in Japan. From 1962 to 1976, he was a partner of Manosa Brothers and Associates, a design firm composed of his architect brothers. He is also the Managing Partner of Francisco Manosa and Partners since 1976.

Gloria de Castro Bernas Ph.D.

As an academician and biochemist, Dr. Gloria de Castro Bernas acknowledges the importance of research as shown by the number of researches she has done. A good number of which are related to cancer because her research interests are on the biological evaluation of natural products with potential anti¬cancer activity, screening for potential transducers of the cell signaling pathways and the development/immunocytochemical screening of tumor markers.

Hon. Bernardo P. Pardo

Prior to his appointment as Associate Justice, Supreme Court of the Philippines, Hon. Pardo served with distinction as Chairman, Commision on Elections. His law practice started at the Jose W. Diokno Law Office. He joined the Office of the Solicitor General as Solicitor in 1962, then became the Assistant Solicitor General in 1971 up to 1974.

Imelda Virginia G. Villar, Ph.D.

The expertise of Imelda Virginia G. Villar, Ph.D. has driven her to provide lectures, seminars, and workshops for various sectors of the society on anger management, burnout management, career planning, dream analysis, cyberaddiction, and counseling among others.

Jesus N. Morales III

Long before Taekwondo was classified as a competition sport in the Olympics, Jesus N. Morales III made his remarkable contribution to the sport by registering impressive feats in the Southeast Asian Taekwondo Championship in Singapore. He emerged as a gold medalist in the SEA Taekwondo Union Championship in 1990. From 1986 to 1991, Morales was an athlete of the Philippine Taekwondo Team. He consistently romped away with top honors in various sports events such as the Carlos Palanca, Jr.

Jose C. Benedicto, Ph.D.

He served as Governor of Rotary International District 3810, where he has developed and earned the respect of a vast network of peers and friends nationwide in Philippine Rotary. His leadership in Rotary set new records of excellence in community service. He was a member of the Faculty of the College of Commerce and Graduate School of the University of Santo Tomas where he obtained his Ph.D Business Administration, major in Management.

Jose Limjoco Evangelista, M.D.

Dr. Jose L. Evangelista, who marched as President of his Graduating Class in the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in 1968 has been in private practice in Internal Medicine/Cardiology in Livonia, Michigan for the past 34 years. He is Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases Subspecialty and Nuclear Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and by the American Board of Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonograpers as well as the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Canada.

Juliette "Jul" B. Dizon completed her secondary and tertiary education at the University of Santo Tomas. She graduated from the UST College of Commerce with a degree in BS Commerce, Major in Banking and Finance. She is the proprietor of Jul B. Dizon Jewellery Salon.
