Justice Alicia Lumboy Santos

Justice Alicia Santos has been practicing her profession for over forty years now. She started as a private law practitioner in 1961 immediately after graduating from the University of Santo Tomas. After three years, she was appointed as Election Registrar by the Commission on Elections which began her career in the government service. Her next government stints were as Presiding Judge from a Municipal Trial Court to the Regional Trial Court then as Executive Judge. Today, she is an Associate Justice at the Court of Appeals.

Ophelia Alcantara-Dimalanta, Ph.D.

Well-respected literary critic Isagani R. Cruz once described Dr. Ophelia Dimalanta as "the archetypal poet's poet, carefully harness-ing the resources of spontaneous youth while carefreely indulging the discipline of contemplative maturity." Her passion for literature is not only manifested in her works but also in the generous sharing of her literary skills and experiences with her students, some of whom became significant men and women of letters as well.

Dr. Miguel Noche

As faculty member and chair of the UST Faculty of Medicine and Surgery's (FMS) Department of Pediatrics, Dr. Miguel Noche introduced an organized management scheme which was integrated in the Faculty's curriculum.

Moved by the need to develop local allergy specialists in pediatrics, he initiated a consortium between UST and the Section of Allergy of the University of the Philippines-Philippine General Hospital (UP-PGH) Medical Center. The program adapted by this consortium aimed at honing pediatric allergists in various medical academic institutions and regions of the country.

Exactly 30 years ago after leaving Manila, Amb. Benjamin Jyh-Yuan Lo again found himself in a familiar ground, but with a more challenging diplomatic task.

Dr. Teresita U. Quirino

Dr. Teresita Uy-Quirino is one of the country's most established women of pedagogy, actively engaging in undertakings that promote the development of technological education. She has also been committed to social growth as manifested by her dedication to civic and humanitarian activities.

Dr. Jacinto Bautista

An ophthalmologist who has an eye for community service, Dr. Jacinto Bautista has spent his medical career campaigning against curable blindness. He has been lauded by local and international groups for his project "Pagkalinga sa Mata", a program launched in 1998 in cooperation with the Rotary Club of Manila (RCM).

Through this project, Dr. Bautista and a team of volunteer ophthalmologists continually provides free consultation and treatment of eye diseases to indigent patients of Metro Manila and nearby provinces.

Atty. Reginaldo Oben

A successful businessman and legal practitioner, lawyer Reginaldo Oben's management expertise is evident in the achievements his affiliated firms have garnered under his supervision.

He completed his pre-law and law proper courses at the University of Santo Tomas. Placing 6th on the list of bar topnotchers for the year 1961, Atty. Oben took further legal studies at the University of London in 1963-1964 where he earned a Diploma in Law, specializing in Shipping Law.

Nina Datu-Aguas

In a professional environment where men commonly occupy top posts in corporations, finding Nina Aguas seated among them is like a breath of fresh air. Her advancement in the corporate ladder and her successful family life serve as a living contradiction to the notion that success in the workplace results to failure at home, and vice-versa.

Arch. Yolanda Reyes

Twenty-six years of competently practicing her craft has made Arch. Yolanda Reyes a renowned personality in Philippine architecture. Credited under her name are two milestone achievements as an architect and an educator.

Mr. Jethro T. Dionisio

Mr. Jethro Dionisio graduated from the College of Commerce in 1994. A fine gentleman engaged in many sports like swimming, kickboxing, horsebackriding, badminton and shooting, he has earned several awards in sports competition both here and abroad. /p>

Even before entering college, Mr. Dionisio was already very much involved in shooting competitions where he always emerged as the Over-All Champion. The international competitions he participated in were held in Valencia.USA; Venezuela; Singapore;
